At Mosquito Shield of Annapolis, we aim to help our fellow community members maximize their enjoyment of warm weather months by providing the opportunity for families to utilize their outdoor space, comfortably. Our goal is to provide the best mosquito control with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy your homes and time with family to the fullest.

Mosquito Shield of Annapolis is a family, locally, and veteran owned and operated business. We proudly serve residential and commercial customers in Ann Arundel and Howard counties, MD, including Annapolis, Arnold, Severna Park, Columbia, Ellicott City, North Laurel, Davidsonville, and the surrounding communities. We are active in our community, attending local home and garden shows, and participating in local fundraisers including for childhood cancer, youth little league, and private schools.

Meet Our Owners, Eric and Whitney Wheeling

Owners Eric and Whitney Wheeling are long-standing residents of Anne Arundel County, where they are currently raising their four children. Eric is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served numerous overseas deployments, to include Iraq and Afghanistan. Eric’s greatest honor of his military career is the two years he spent as a Wounded Warrior Liaison at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where he was inspired daily by the miracle of resilient, young warriors determined to overcome their injuries. 


Whitney is a self-employed, speech-language pathologist who works primarily with Annapolis area families and has strong ties with the Naval Academy Primary School and St. Mary’s School of Annapolis. Eric and Whitney enjoy spending their free time indulging in family-centered activities, to include fishing and boating in the Chesapeake Bay. 


Our goal is to make our customers’ outdoor living spaces safe and pest free while exceeding our customers’ expectations. We want Mosquito Shield of Annapolis to be recognized as the most caring, trusted, and recognized service for mosquito and tick control in our area.
